Do you know that Bandung is like Shopping Heaven? Let's look what are Bandung have.

 Paris Van Java

This place is very much like KL shopping complex. It’s very nicely done, with cafes outside, and boutiques on the inside. We split into 2 group, our friend went shoe hunting, while both of us went lurking around the place. We went to Daiso (selling Japanese stuff for RM7nett) and bought some stuff.

Rambo Selling Jeans

Next, we headed to Cihampelas, that’s the place they call that sells all sorts of jeans. Once you arrive at that place, you are greeted with many superheros!! Each shop has their own superhero.

Cihampelas Bandung

Cihampelas or popular called as The Street of 1001 Jeans is best known for jeans. You can find denim (jeans) stores along the street. Here you can buy literally any type as well as any size of jeans, in addition to a very large selection of casual wear, all at very reasonable prices. The jeans here are mostly copies. The shops here boast huge fantastical statues of comic book or movie characters on their roofs and shop fronts such as Superman, Goku, Rambo and others.

Cibaduyut Bandung

Cibaduyut is the center of shoe sellers. The statue of two bronze shoes at the beginning of the street conveys it all: shoes of all sorts and sizes make up the bulk of what this street sells. If you are keen on shoes and like a bargain, Cibaduyut street will both satisfy your feet as your wallet. To get there, either take a taxi or hop on one of the angkots that states Cibaduyut, and get off past the shoe statue. Most of the branded shoes might not be the real thing even though, many still are of good quality and it is hard to tell if it concerns the real thing or not. Other than that most shoes are Indonesian brands, again of good enough quality and economically priced.

BANDUNG IS THE SHOPPING HEAVEN!!

DESTINATION 12: Kintamani and Mount Batur, Bali, Indonesia

Kintamani is a place that located in Kabupaten Bangli (Bali). The distance about 1 hour from Kota Denpasar. With the height 100 meter from will be the temperature is 17 - 20 Celsius. So that, the weather is so cold.
What is in kintamani that we can explore?

How to get there?

Mount Batur was located at Kintamani. For those who like the adventure, you can climb the Mount Batur. You will be able to see the lake of Batur. The area of Batur is about 6.05 km2 with the maximal deep 60 meter. The height of Mount  Batur is 1.717 meter and it is the second, with a summit over 1,700m above sea level and 700m above the surrounding landscape.

It is possible to climb Gunung Batur from a variety of locations within the greater caldera area. The two most popular starting locations are Kedisan and Toya Bungkah, with Toya Bungkah having more accommodation and a slightly more relaxed feel.

If you look at the above picture carefully, you will see small apes that live on the mountain and presumably gather around the hut to beg for food.

It is forbidden to climb the mountain without an authorised guide from the HPPGB, which has a monopoly on guiding services. They're a pushy bunch and there are reports, although unconfirmed by us, of them harassing trekkers that set off up the mountain without one of their guides. Beside this annoyance, it's not really a trek that you would want to do without a guide at night anyway unless you are an experienced climber.

Better you use the stick while walking or climb this mount. For your safety, follow the instruction from the guide. If you are so tired, tell the guide to rest for a while.

The costs for guides listed at HPPGB offices are negotiable and are as follows:
Short: 300,000 rupiah
Medium: 450,000 rupiah
Long: 600,000 rupiah

Enjoy the hiking here!
